Journal Title ("Re: My Brains") is a reference to Jonathan Coulton's marvelous song Re: Your Brains, though the relation to brains in the two cases have some distance between them.
Subtitle "('cause I got some weird ideas in my head)" is, again stripped of context, a reference to Warren Zevon's "Things to do in Denver When You're Dead"
